Knights of 88 are a collective of musicians, visual artists, entrepreneurs, designers, engineers and programmers that have come together to inspire, entertain, as well as challenge perceptions and ways of thinking through conceptual art. As a multidisciplinary group we synergise our individual skill sets and life experiences to create art that is fearless, without compromise and with the vision of impacting the culture we love and respect.

Our Vision

The current statistics show that despite significant investment by big tech, diversity numbers especially within the black community amongst coders, engineers and data scientists remains significantly underrepresented. Hip-hop has shown its power to culturally impact the world and our goal is to create a conversation to empower solutions for higher engagement of low income communities into high tech jobs by making technology more accessible..

What is Tech Rap?

Tech Rap is a new genre in hip-hop that we have created that fuses technology, rap music and visual art with the vision of using the cultural power of Hip Hop to offer an innovative solution on how to increase the engagement in young black creatives with technologies of the future such as Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, amongst others.
